HUGO Victor (1802-1885). National and universal pilgrimage to the Victor Hugo House and Museum. Poster in color print mounted on paper made for the private initiative museum, installed in the last house of Victor Hugo, 124 avenue Victor-Hugo at the time of the Universal Exhibition of 1889. Preserved in a modern frame. Some missing parts to the poster. This poster is a unique and quite rare piece. Sight: H.: 79 cm - W.: 85,5 cm. Frame: H.: 84,5 cm - W.: 64,5 cm. History: At the request of the municipality of the city of Paris, the grandchildren of Victor Hugo opened exceptionally for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 the last residence of the poet in which he died. The house will be open for less than a year as a museum since everything remained in its place.
