L.A.S.: "Foucher," addressed to Viscount Alcide de Beauchêne (1800-1873), gentleman of the chamber in the Ministry of the King's Household, dated, March 23, 1826, in-4°, 2 ½ pages, on War Ministry letterhead. Stains, tears, folds. Letter of thanks for the provision of a box to have Romeo and Juliet, Othello, and Marguerite d'Anjou performed. He also talks about Victor Hugo's health and that of his sister Adèle, Victor Hugo's wife.
