Text: "If the glances of a cruel separation for my heart can be softened, it is by the memory of your royal highness sent to me by the count Piper and the assurances of this precious friendship which will be eternally dear to me and which I will try to preserve as long as will live the sincere and reciprocal feelings which I devoted to you for ever. The day of your departure my dearest cousin was a very sad day for me and for all those who were truly attached to you, the family of Count Brahue and that of Count Runoth were near me in the evening and you can imagine that we were expressing what we had lost.
