DUC D'ALENÇON'S LIBRARY Facsimile of the drawings of Ferdinand-Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Alençon, Paris, 1921, large in-4° (235x200 mm), 48 pages, gilt edges, beautiful period binding in blue chagrin in a slipcase signed M. Albinhac, decorated in the center of each plate with the large arms of the House of Orleans under the crown of the Prince of France and four gold fleur-de-lis, spine decorated, title in gold letters, beautiful copy offered by the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme, decorated with two autograph letters signed by Prince Emmanuel d'Orléans, Duke of Vendôme (1872-1931) and his wife, née Princess Henriette of Belgium (1870-1948): "To Mademoiselle de Saint-Exupéry, in memory of my father, Emmanuel d'Orléans" and "In memory of the happy days spent together with the most accomplished Prince and the Christian saint we loved so much! Your affectionate Henriette". Inside decorated with a gilded frieze decorated with fleurs de lys, illustrations. Good condition.
