ORDRE DES QUATRE EMPEREURS Diploma designating Charles-Adam, Count of Bylandt, Commander of the Order of Ancient Nobility of the Four Emperors of Germany and bearer of the insignia of the Lion of Holstein-Limburg Merit, printed text and partly handwritten on parchment, bearing at the bottom of the document 12 autograph signatures, dated 14 October 1818. In the state. H. : 34,5 cm - L. : 44,5 cm. History : Charles-Adam de Bylandt-Palstercamp is a French military of Dutch origin (The Hague). He rallied to Louis-Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon I and king of Holland, and became a lieutenant-officer on November 10, 1806. At the beginning of 1807, he was the squire of Queen Consort Hortense de Beauharnais, whom he continued to see during the Restoration.
