JOHNNY HALLYDAY (1943/2017) / CLIFF RICHARD (1940) : 1 FRAMU - Lot 321
JOHNNY HALLYDAY (1943/2017) / CLIFF RICHARD (1940) : 1 FRAMUS 12-string guitar offered to Johnny Hallyday in 1969 by the British singer CLIFF RICHARD. While the rocker was in a recording studio in London to record the tracks of his next album, Cliff Richard was also in the same studio but in another booth. Sympathizing with each other at the studio bar, Johnny complained that he had not brought his 12-string guitar, which sounded perfect for initiating his future melodies. A few hours later, as a token of friendship, Cliff Richard had this guitar dropped off at the French rocker's hotel. Touched by this gift, Johnny Hallyday will keep it for many years, imposing the sound of this instrument during many recordings. A repair has been done on the neck. Average condition for this collector guitar.
