Saber of honor for the light cavalry, silver mounting, filigree rifle, right angle cruise and double break at half ear, iron scabbard decorated with two silver trimmings. The inscription above the first band "Le premier consul au citoyen Sébastien Schwingruber à la 16eme demi-brigade légère" and on the reverse side "Manufacture à Versailles" (partly erased). Very pure weapon in its original state. Guard stamped with a rooster. Consulate period
