Rectangular mosaic plaque and bas-relief of hard stone depicting the virgin and the angel of the Annunciation in intarsio (small accidents and missing). Florence, Ufficio del pietre dure, ca. 1720 13.5 x 18.5 cm Notes: A large octagonal plaque of the same workmanship is preserved in the Spanish Royal Palace collections in Madrid, the Pitti Palace preserves a stoup of 1704 commissioned by the Elector Palatine, and an octagonal plaque is preserved in the collection of the Karlsruhe, Badishes Landesmuseum.
