Rare printed silk table carpet, first half of the seventeenth century, green silk taffeta printed in black with a diamond cartouche of acanthus scrolls populated with birds and loves and four identical fleurons in the spandrels. Friezes of scrolls of roses, tulips and carnations with arching loves and supporting a flowery cup, and acanthus scrolls populated with woodland animals. Fringe of frayed cut on the circumference, lining taffeta, (restorations, accidents on one side), 185 x 105 cm.
