Trompe l'oeil lace, circa 1770-1780 Folded fan, the double sheet of paper painted with gouache on a green background of trompe l'oeil lace on either side of cartels. Two fishermen frame a central gallant scene. Reverse in painted skin of a small house in the countryside. Ivory frame* pierced, engraved and heightened in colors of a dancing couple, and two bouquets of flowers on the sides. The plumes decorated with a sewn decoration of cannetille and small pearls. H.t. 27 cm-H.f. 12 cm (wear, restorations)
