Pagodas and Chinese, circa 1760 Folded fan, the skin sheet, lined with paper, painted with a musical entertainment offered by a shepherd with his musette to a group of young girls. Rich border of birds, rabbits, and flowers. On the reverse, a young shepherd kneeling in front of a young lady. Has kept its original border painted with a flower. Fine ivory mount* cut, engraved and painted in colors of small Chinese characters, pagodas, feathers and flowers. H.t. 29,5 cm-H.f. 14,9 cm (cuts, restorations)
