Long and wide ruffle in Brussels application, 3rd quarter of the 19th century. A sumptuous decoration of fern leaves, roses, umbellifers, garlands of falling foliage, fine twigs with small tendrils and flowers, finely made with spindles and applied on a cotton tulle, enhanced by beautiful roses and their foliage, anemones and flowers with large corollas made in needlepoint, the embroidery worked very tightly with a beautiful relief effect. Light ivory colored cotton. Dim. 10 m x 47 cm at the widest (good general condition, some holes scattered mainly in high border)
