Height: 29,5 cm - Width: 18,2 cm (small restorations) In a lacquered wood frame with inscriptions Provenance: collection of Doctor Louis Marchand; private collection, Dijon, (by descent) Andoche de Saulieu was sent to Gaul by Saint Polycarp and would have undergone martyrdom in Saulieu in the IInd century with Saint Thyrse and Saint Felix; after having come out of a fiery furnace, they were knocked out with a stick.
