Manolette, Spanish bullfighter, circa 1940 Folded fan, the double sheet of paper printed in color on both sides with bullfighting scenes in Spain. On one side, left, in black ink, autograph signature of "Manuel Rodriguez Manolete". Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez known as "Manolete" (1917-1947) is a famous bullfighter and founder of the so-called "modern" bullfighting. Wooden frame stained in red. The plumes engraved and silvered: "Recuerdo de España". Gilded metal clasp. H.t. 32,5 cm-H.f. 21,7 cm (a restored strand)
