The 1889 World's Fair Folded fan, the sheet of fabric coated and printed in color with a panorama of the Champ-de-Mars in Paris, dominated by the Eiffel Tower at sunset. The captive balloon of the aeronaut Henri Lachambre rises into the air. The City of Paris, and the arts personified by artist lovers, welcome representatives of foreign nations including Spain, Russia, and the British Empire. On the right, Argentina holding its coat of arms, and wearing the cap of the army of the Andes, stands in front of the pavilion of its country. Mark "Déposé" on the left. Reverse in brown coated fabric. Stamped and gilded wooden frame with flowers decoration. The plumes stamped with the arms of Argentina. H.t. 35 cm-H.f. 21,7 cm (wear)
