Oscar Massin, (1829-1913) Colored enamels, circa 1870-1880 Rare jeweler's fan, the leaf in needle lace with flower decoration. Entirely mounted in blond tortoiseshell**. The plumes decorated with the number "GO" in red, blue, yellow and green enamel on gold. The head enhanced with a stylized leaf in red, blue, yellow and green enamel on gold. H.t. 28,5 cm-H.f. 15 cm (stains) In its original box covered with blue leather, bearing a number "GO" in silver. The interior is padded. Under the box, stamped and gilded the address of the jeweler with the mention "Grand Prix 1878/O. Massin/ joaillier fabricant/3 avenue de l'Opéra/Paris / Médaille d'or 1867", gilded. N.B. : Oscar Massin, born in Liège in 1829 and died in Paris in 1913, is a famous jeweller who is nowadays unknown. He designed jewelry pieces for the Empress Eugenie.
