The Hunting Rest, ca. 1780 Folded fan, the skin sheet lined with paper, and painted with gouache of a tent hung in a grove to shelter the outdoor lunch of a hunting couple. He is wearing a hunting outfit and holding his rifle. On the left, a servant in livery is talking to a young lady playing with a dog. Reverse: two characters sketched among trees, on a blue background. Mounting in ivory* finely cut, engraved and gilded with love symbols and flowers. Handwritten inscription in ink on the reverse "KBar VRK (?)". H.t. 27 cm-H.f. 12,2 cm (minor wear)
