Music in the Fields, ca. 1770-1780 Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English, and painted with gouache of a couple of musicians in the center. On the left, a reaper in a wheat field, and a sheep herder on the right. Small scenes in the antique taste on the sides. Basket of autumn fruits including a pear, a peach and grapes, on the reverse. White mother-of-pearl mount cut, engraved and silvered, on the love theme. Rehauts of mother-of-pearl half-pearls on the beater. H.t. 28,5 cm-H.f. 13,3 cm
