The carps, Japan, circa 1890 Fan, the double silk painted leaf of a fisherman feeding carps while couples of peasants watch him or join a house. Delicate composition mixing flowers, birds, butterfly and spider on the reverse side. Ivory frame* the throat decorated with gilded lacquer on both sides of a bird pecking a pomegranate. Plumes adorned with a bird among flowers. The tree is executed in golden lacquer, the flowers in carved mother-of-pearl. Silver metal clasp. H.t. 30 cm-H.f. 16,5 cm (minor wear)
