Gilded filigree, China, 19th century Folded fan, the double sheet of paper painted with gouache on both sides with 60 figures on terraces opening onto a garden. On one, a horseman appears on the right, carrying a standard. On the other, a rider arrives on the left on a white steed. His head is surmounted by a golden halo. All are wearing silk clothes in relief and a cut ivory* head. Mounting in filigree and gilded metal. The strands of the throat with repeated decoration of blue and green enamelled flowers. Brace. H.t. 28 cm-H.f. 12 cm (wear, restorations, two strands to be resoldered) In a black lacquered bamboo box with gold decoration of a couple in a garden.
