A pair of celadon embossed porcelain triple gourd vases, decorated with peonies and luxuriant foliage on the lower part, topped by a dragon and topped by stylized clouds and friezes of Buddhist leaves. China, late 18th century. Chased and gilt bronze mounting, the base with hollowed out angles and frieze of grained laurels, the neck with frieze of water leaves. Late 18th-early 19th century. H. : 24.3cm. (the necks probably slightly lapped to fit the frame)
