A pair of Chinese porcelain bottles Qianlong, 18th century, circa 1740 Decorated with Famille Rose enamels, a parrot on a perch, mounted as a lamp with a gilt metal openwork base in the Chinese style, each with cracks, both with wear. Mounted as a lamp with copper mounts inscribed Gagneau and openwork bases in the Chinese style and later adapted for electricity. H. of a vase : 25 cm. H. total : 38 cm. Notes : This decoration is often attributed to the Dutch artist Cornélis Pronk (1691-1759).
