JEWELRY TRAVEL CASE OF PRINCESS INGEBORG OF SWEDEN. By GUILBERG, Stockholm, late 19th century. Rectangular shape, sheathed in Bordeaux leather, hinged lid opening with a front lock and two latches on two removable drawers, decorated in the center with the intertwined monogram I (Ingeborg) under a Swedish silver crown, red velvet and silk interior, with two retractable handles on the sides, preserved with its original key. Time wear, as is. Otto Guilberg, Stockholm, late 19th century. H. : 23 cm - W. : 50 cm - D. : 35,5 cm. Provenance : former collection of Princess Charles of Sweden, née Ingeborg of Denmark (1878-1958), mother of Princess Margaretha of Sweden and Queen Astrid of Belgium, kept by her son, Prince Axel of Denmark (1881-1964) and by descent from the latter to Prince George of Denmark (1920-1986). A collection of historical objects and memorabilia belonging to Prince Axel of Denmark (1881-1964) and his wife Princess Margaretha of Sweden (1899-1977), from the Yellow Palace (Det Gule Palæ) in Copenhagen. Kept by the descendants of their son Prince George of Denmark (1920-1986) from n°203 to n°235 AND A MISCELLANEOUS (*)
