MARRIAGE OF THE DAUPHIN OF FRANCE. Silver commemorative medal, signed Anton Widemann (1724-1792) souvenir of the marriage by proxy between the Dauphin (future Louis XVI) and the Archduchess Marie-Antoinette, celebrated in Vienna on April 19, 1770. Adorned on one side with a bust of the young princess, head turned to the right, and on the reverse is represented Love and Abundance standing sacrificing on an altar. Good condition. Diameter : 4,5 cm. Weight : 26 g
