Two fans, circa 1770 *One, the leaf in skin, mounted in English, and painted of Abigail laying at David's feet food. Bone mount, the plumes painted pink, the throat pierced, and painted in harmony. H.t. 26 cm (missing and damaged) The other, the skin leaf, mounted in English style, and painted with Ceres, goddess of the harvest holding a sickle in her arms, while her companion presents her with a sheaf of wheat. Dumb reverse. Bone mount engraved and silvered. Brace. H.t. 28,5 cm (missing and damaged)
