Ruth and Boaz, ca. 1740-1750 Folded fan, mounted in the English style, the painted skin sheet of the meeting of Ruth and Boaz in front of a field being harvested, after the Bible. Reverse painted of a love among a cloud, holding a bird by a thread. Signed later on the left "Geslin, maison Marde (?)". Ivory frame* cut and engraved in mirror of a young girl, among exotic birds and cherries. H.t. 28,5 cm-H.f. 13,8 cm
