The Card Players, ca. 1730 Folded fan, the double sheet of painted skin of card players in an interior. While a woman falls to the left, a second woman takes advantage of this diversion to steal the purse of one of the players. A couple of shepherds on the reverse. Rich ivory frame* carved with figures and foliage. The head carved with shells. H.t. 27,5 cm-H.f. 14,5 cm (important restorations and wear to the folds)
