Three needle lace borders, Erzgebirge, 4th quarter of the 19th century. Rare needle lace borders resembling by its technique the Belgian Gauze stitch, this lace produced in the German region of the Ore Mountains differs from the Gauze stitch by the motifs which are connected between them whereas the motifs of the Gauze stitch are connected by a network of fine stitches A cream-coloured border decorated with roses with detached petals, Dim. 1,35 m x 6 cm (good condition, some pale stains), one decorated with blooming flowers and medallions, Dim. 1,40 m x 7 cm (good condition) and one of dark ivory colour, Dim. 95 x 4 cm (one seam, freckles and stains)
