Small embroidered handkerchief in relief, 2nd half of the 19th century. In hand-woven linen embroidered with plumetis and sand stitch, each of the corners with embroidery reapplied and in relief, with a profusion of symmetrical decoration of flowers and foliage where two plump birds and three butterflies with detached wings and antennae, fuchsia flowers with detached corollas and stamens, frolicking under a garland of vine leaves. Small oval medallions embroidered and the center openwork and finely decorated with needle embroidery type Alençon, punctuate the border. (good condition, embroidery re-applied)
