Four large embroidered handkerchiefs, 1st half of the 19th century. In linen hand thread very finely embroidered with feather duster and sand stitch: One with double friezes densely embroidered and adorned with cartouches in various modes with Alençon type needle and supple branches of flowers, large number MJ embroidered in one corner (very nice condition, one small stain) one with garland of flowers and supple geometric pattern cutting the border (nice condition, 4 pinholes) one with bouquet of flowers in symmetry in each corner, beautiful GDB figure surmounted by a crown of a senatorial count of the Empire (bleached, stains and two small holes) and one with triple friezes, one with eglantines and two with medallions well decorated with various fashions in the Alençon type needle, large embroidered figure in a corner, large Valenciennes ruffle with the decoration in recall of the embroidered one (a few small accidents, two fine repeats)
