VERMEIL DESSERT SERVICE, WITH THE ARMS OF THE ROYAL HOUSE OF GREAT BRITAIN, NAUDIN, PARIS, 1798-1809 - ELEY FEARN CHAWNER, LONDON, 1811. Composed of 24 dessert spoons (18: François-Dominique Naudin, Paris, 1798-1809 and 6: WE, WF, WC, London, 1811), and two vermeil sugar tongs (WE, WF, WC, London, 1811). Model with filleted border, engraved with the arms of the Royal Court of England during the reign of King George IV (1762-1830) surrounded by the Order of the Garter. The set is preserved in its original red leather case. Good condition, slight wear of the time to the case. Title mark : 1st title, big guarantee, Paris, 1798-1809. Title mark : George IV, London, 1811. Goldsmith's mark : François-Dominique Naudin, active 1824-1834. Goldsmith's mark : WE (William Eley I), WF (William Fearn), WC (William Chawner II). L. : 14 cm.
