GOLDEN SALT PELLE, OF THE TABLE SERVICE OF THE DUKE OF ORLEANS. Engraved on the back of the handle with the arms of the House of Orleans under a crown of prince of blood and applied on a background of flags. Wear and tear, but good condition. Title mark: medium guarantee, Paris, 1819-1838. Goldsmith's mark: François-Dominique Naudin, active from 1824 to 1834. L. : 12 cm. Weight : 19,5 g. History: this coat of arms is that of Louis-Philippe, future king of the French, then duke of Orleans (1773-1850).
