VERMONY TABATIERE, SAXONY, EARLY 18th CENTURY. Of round and domed form, carved in a block of smoky quartz with glitter, hinged lid with a frieze of flowers set with rubies, yellow carnelian, garnets and sapphires, topped by a crown. Wear and tear, small accidents, missing parts, but good condition. German work, Saxony, early 18th century. No apparent hallmark. H. : 5 cm - Diam. : 6,5 cm.
