ÉCOLE ANGLAISE DE LA FIN DU XIXe SIÈCLE, D'APRÈS HANS HOLBEIN LE JEUNE (1497-1543). Portrait of King Henry VIII of England (1491-1547). Miniature on paper, oval shape, preserved under glass in a gold pendant medallion decorated with a polychrome enamel frieze set with chrysoprases. On the reverse side appears the royal monogram of the sovereign in gold letters on a green enamel background. No apparent hallmarks. Time wear to the frame, small accidents, accident to the glass, but good general condition. Sight: H.: 2.8 cm - L.: 2.4 cm. Frame: H.: 7.5 cm - L.: 3.8 cm. Gross weight: 14.60 g.
