Rare borders, polychrome whipped cream and "Barjac ombrée", spindles, 20th century. A very rare Chantilly type lace border with floral motif made of almond green and powdered pink silk, outline thread, glass stitch cartouches and black silk light background network. Small label in blue L.DL printed paper at one end. Dim. 1.28 m x 4 cm (nice condition, never used) And two very light borders in fine black silk with a tea towel network, named "Barjac lace" by Mrs Ulrike Voelcker, German lace teacher and designer, when she acquired a similar lace at the Barjac fair in the south of France, no such lace being known.
