Five needlepoint laces, Ireland, late 19th century. Three in Youghal with a wide border elegantly decorated with supple fuchsia and wild rose branches, open flowers, buttons and foliage, and interlaced with a graceful waving ribbon, 90 cm m x 20 cm (good condition, a few accidents in the lower border, mounted on a fine cotton tulle) and a pair of cuffs decorated in free symmetry with supple floral motifs 25 cm x 12 cm each (good condition) cream cotton for the three pieces. We attach three needle lace collars, two of which are decorated in symmetry with flowers densely worked in tight stitches, Indonesian work? (good condition for both), one in cream colour (freckles) and beige for the second, and a collar decorated with interlocking rings, ivory colour (freckles, small accidents).
