Ties and borders, Point de Gaze, Belgium, end of the 19th century. An extremely finely needle-worked tie with a central frieze of well chiselled vine leaves supporting very finely made floral cluster cartridges in spindles. Two borders in fine gauze stitch, one of which is well rhythmed with flowers and stylised foliage, light ivory cotton, size 1.05 m x 13 cm (good condition) and another with flexible sprays of flowers and ears of wheat, scroll cartouche decorated with roses and foliage and three roses in full bloom at each end, ivory cotton, size 1.40 m x 15 cm at the widest (small holes scattered throughout the network) Two borders in fine English appliqué, one of which is 5.60 m x 6 cm.
