Children's hats, Hollie-Point, needle, England, 18th century. Two newborn bonnets made of batiste and inlaid with fine needle lace, one with a medallion adorned with a closed crown between rhombuses and flowers and the band decorated with hearts and a large flower, and the other with a medallion adorned with a heart topped with a closed crown and band decorated with a flower and small geometric motifs. (good general condition, small batiste accidents) We attach a small silver frame with a lace medallion of the same technique, decorated with a tulip pot between two birds.
