Two damask tablecloths, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Heinrich Vogeler, circa 1900-1930. A tablecloth decorated with daisies blooming on flexible stems and held by an undulating border around the tablecloth, a design created for his own table by the painter Heinrich Vogeler. Together with other German artists, he set up an "artists' colony" in the northern German town of Worpswede in 1985. Flexible FS number embroidered in white in a corner. Dim. 1.65 m x 1.65 m. (nice condition) A tablecloth with a border frieze around the edge and centerpiece composed of flowers and geometric figures well typified Art Deco. Dim. 1,75 m x 1,65 m. (good condition)
