Bridal costume and part of the ceremonial costume of a patrician family, Attica, Greece, late 19th and early 20th century, consisting of a dress in cream and light pink silk with embroidered braids in gold cordonnet on blue satin, a black cloth waistcoat embroidered with floral arabesques and a tree of life in gold cordonnet and a headdress topped with a stream of gold thread. Five other pieces including a pair of straps and a second similar vest, (some accidents)
