Child's hat in silver embroidery, late 17th-early 18th century, lightly quilted blue azure satin bonnet embroidered with guipure and silver couch of 3 pomegranate flower plants. Silver bobbin lace underlining the compartments and bordering the pass. Tie ribbons and knot on the back in taffeta, (ribbon accidents, sparkling embroidery). Related works: Patterns for similar children's hats designed and engraved by Margaretha Helm (1659-1742) published in The Art and Delights of Needlework or the New Sewing Book, Christoph Weigel in 1725.
