L'offrande à l'Amour d'après Sauvage, circa 1860-1880 Folded fan, the needle lace leaf decorated with lilac branches enclosing a silk cartel painted with gouache. A couple of lovers deposit their offering in the bowl of the Love under the glance of a dog, symbol of fidelity. Important mention on the right "after Sauvage", rare mention on the sheet, on the left : "E. Faucon à Paris". Dumb reverse. Mother-of-pearl burgau mount very richly pierced and engraved with cartels and foliage, and horns of plenty. H.t. 29,5 cm-H.f. 16 cm (restorations to the plumes, stains)
