A Hurricane in Havana, ca. 1846 Rare folded fan, the double sheet in chromolithographed paper of ships caught in the storm, and a shipwreck off the island of Havana. Below, the legend in Spanish: "Uracan acaecido en la habana el 11 de Octubre 1846" [Hurricane in Havana on October 11, 1846]. The arms of the Spanish crown to the right, with the motto "Siempre Fidelisima", to the left. Reverse: gallant scene in the 18th century taste Bone mount pierced and painted with flowers. Mirrors on the plumes. Metal clasp and tassel of passementerie. H.t. 27 cm-H.f. 9,3 cm (small accidents)
