The Four Seasons, ca. 1730-1740 Folded fan, double sheet of painted skin of Flora on a cloud, crowned by Love and carried by the wind Zephyr. Lovers sow flowers around her. Her reign is celebrated between Winter huddled near burning firebrands on the left, and Autumn asleep, a wreath of grapefruits on her head. Dumb reverse. Ivory mount* pierced and engraved alternately with a woman and a dog. The rim decorated with a mother-of-pearl flower and brown tortoiseshell**. H.t. 30,2 cm - H.f. 17,5 cm (small cuts and restorations, wear)
