Pierrot, Harlequin and Scaramouche, circa 1710-1720 Broken ivory fan* painted with a large cartel after Antoine Watteau's "Pour garder l'honneur d'une belle". The composition combines several characters of the Commedia dell'arte on a theater stage. The perspective is opened by a long gallery, and a garden on the right. Delicate border carved in light relief with birds, dogs and flowers. On the reverse, the composition of the face is repeated. Chinoiseries at the place of the simulated throat. The head of the plume enhanced with a brown tortoiseshell plate**. H.t. 22,6 cm (restorations, modern ribbon)
