Trend album for fashion, Dresses 1936 - 1937, published in German by the Frankfurt Fashion Office, J Hoffmann, Stuttgart 1936; explanatory booklet, table and 20 watercolour-enhanced plates showing elegant evening dresses mainly.... In-8 in sheets under folder. The Frankfurt Fashion Bureau was founded in 1933 at the instigation of the mayor of the city, a member of the Nazi party, and was headed by Margareth Klimt. The aim was to arianize the clothing and haute couture sectors; the models were in line with the standards of international haute couture at the time.
