Printed on watermarked laid paper, with autograph text, on a letterhead bearing the arms of England, signed by Charles Whitworth in St. Petersburg on November 16, 1797, authorizing the Duc de Crussol, Marshal de Camp in the service of the King of France, to travel to London. With red wax stamp at the bottom of the document. Folds, traces of moisture, but general condition. H.: 43 cm - W.: 27.5 cm.
