TOMB OF THE EMPEROR NAPOLEON I. Miniature metal replica, rectangular in shape, representing the tomb of Napoleon, decorated on one side with a polychrome historical scene representing the Battle of Austerlitz surmounted by the date 5 December 1805 and on the other side with the emperor's monogram, the whole painted on a green background. The upper part is adorned with the famous bicorn of the French sovereign, allowing a capture to be taken to give access to a lying man representing Napoleon in full dress on his deathbed. Uses of time. French work, late 19th century. H.: 11 cm - H.: 8 cm.
