PHILIPPE VIII, duc d'Orléans (1869-1926) *Photographic portrait signed by Koller Karoly in Budapest, representing the Prince in his Breton outfit, with an autograph dedication signed at the top of the document: "To my dear Honoré, remembrance of his old and very affectionate friend Philippe, Woodnorton, January 18, 1903". Enclosed is a photographic portrait signed Koller Karoly in Budapest depicting the prince posing in bust, with an autograph dedication signed "To Miss Elizabeth de Luynes in remembrance of her affectionate and devoted godfather, Philip, January 1, 1907" and a photographic portrait signed Langhams in Marienbad depicting the prince posing in hunting dress, with an autograph dedication signed "To my dear Honoré [Luynes] in remembrance of his affectionate friend, Philip, Brussels, May 1893". Cut on the lower part, but good general condition. H.: 27 cm - W.: 16 cm; H.: 19.5 cm - W.: 11.5 cm. See illustration on pages 89 and 95. Provenance: former collection of the Duke and Duchess Honoré de Luynes (1868-1924).
