BIBLIOTHÈQUE DE ROBERT, *The office of Holy Week, according to the Roman Missal and Breviary, dedicated to the Queen, for the use of her House. Published in Paris by Jean-Baptiste Garnier, 1752, in-8°, 847 pages gilt on edges, period red morocco binding, decorated on each cover with the wedding bands of the Royal Houses of France and Poland, framed by a large frieze with small irons, spine with fleur-de-lys nerves and title in gold letters. Weathered, but good condition. Provenance: copy with the arms of Marie Leszczynska, wife of King Louis XV. Carries the ex-libris of Prince Robert d'Orléans, Duke of Chartres (1840-1910) then offered by the latter to his daughter Princess Marguerite d'Orléans (1869-1940).
